OMOROTI

Omoroti translates to the dreamer in the Kisii language. This summer-spring collection is inspired by Salvador Dali’s whimsical nature in life and his artworks. In my own interpretation, I drew inspiration from two of my favorite things: Choco-chip cookies and vines. My Choco-chip cookies lost in nature bore a collection that tells a beautiful story. The silhouettes are simple, easy-fitting, and breezy. I see this collection as a complete wardrobe, it has your everyday staples, dressy pieces as well as chilled outlooks. The choice of colors evokes a certain playfulness while the pleating, embroidery, and fringe fabrication techniques complement each other seamlessly.
