From an early age, at my mother's fashion boutique, I was continually exposed to fabrics, I found their color texture, and drapery to be particularly intriguing. I now have a deep desire to understand the textiles my ancestors interacted with and made. Through my practice, I seek to create an environment for the preservation of traditional practices through textile explorations that mimick the textures, shapes, and overall feelings. experienced by the people.
